Insurance   Standard charges have been established for all procedures performed at Reading Surgery Center. Our facility is participating with Medicare, Medicaid, Capital Blue Cross, Health America, Aetna, Keystone East, Highmark Blue Shield, Unison and Cigna insurance plans. Not included are fees for your physician and anesthesia services, laboratory fees, pathology, or other tests which may be ordered by your physician. Your insurance information will be verified by our business office. You will be notified before your surgery date in the event you have any financial responsibility based upon our insurance verification. Any co-insurance and/or deductible based on your scheduled procedure(s) is due the day of surgery. We accept cash, personal check, VISA, MasterCard and Discover. Financial arrangements may be made prior to your surgery date by contacting the business office manager at ext. 11. We will submit all covered procedures to your insurance company. It is important to remember to bring your insurance cards with you the day of your procedure for final verification.
