Day of Surgery
 
1. It is important to remember to bring with you the day of your procedure, a photo identification with your current address and your insurance cards for final verification.

2. It is your responsibility to arrange in advance for a responsible adult to drive you home. You may not drive yourself or leave the facility in a taxi alone. We suggest someone remain with you for the first 24 hours following your surgery.

3. Please bring a list of ALL your current medications including the name, dose and frequency. This includes over the counter medications and supplements.

4. Please bathe or shower prior to your surgery. Remove all makeup. Do not use lotions or oils after bathing. Remove ALL nail polish and jewelry including all body piercings.
 
5. Wear loose, comfortable clothing such as sweat suits and easy to button shirts or blouses that are big enough to accommodate a large bandage after surgery. Wear comfortable shoes. A locker will be provided to secure your personal belongings.

6. Leave all valuables at home. We cannot be responsible for damaged or lost property.

7. Cell phones are not permitted in the patient area. No weapons are permitted on the premises.

8. Visitors under the age of 16 are not permitted in the patient care area. Children may not be left unattended in the waiting area.
